I purchased a few different styles for the 5th wheel. The fifth wheel is rated for 50 amp, however, some campgrounds only have thirty amp hookups and these various configurations do come in handy. I also bought the 30 amp to five plugs. When on a 50 amp site, I will use the 30 amp open plug with this style adapter to run extension cords to fans, exterior lights, crock pot setting on a folding table under the awning, etc. Heavy cords that so far are durable. The 20amp to 30amp comes in handy to power the camper when neither a 30amp or 50amp outlet is available. Can't run the AC but it keeps the battery charged and can run the microwave, coffee pot, TV, etc.

The quality of this product was very good and well constructed and it would perform very well good value for his money unfortunately I ordered the wrong part for my application so it wasn't able to use it it was not the product fault it was my fault.

I'm sure it was operator error but it took quite some time to find what I was looking for when the Iron Forge Cable adapter came across my search. I added a 30amp dedicated receptacle to my new build garage to prevent constant circuit overload and tripping of the breaker at the electrical panel while running various appliances, tools and air compressor. After adding the Iron Forge Cable adapter power cord, I couldn't be more satisfied. Besides peace of mind on not having to run costly dedicated circuits to the electrical panel, I can now hookup and run multiple appliances and tools all at once without tripping a breaker. The craftsmanship and quality of the product is exceptional.

This 1 1/2 foot 14-50P2 to 5-20R adapter cord is very beefy. If you have a 14-50P plug available and need standard wall outlet type plugs this adapter plug is perfect to conveniently convert 240V to four 110 V outlets. I recently installed a 240V plug to charge my electric vehicle I also wanted a 110v plug for convenience but decided against it. I didn’t install the 110v as the area is already cluttered but this adapter was a perfect solution since I don’t always use my 240V plug. The plugs on the adapter are rated for 20 amp so I can plug-in some pretty heavy duty power tools onto that interface without any concerns. I’ve been using this plug for a few days and I’ve been very happy with it. I know I’ve gotten my moneys worth I would recommend if you need access to 110 plugs and all you have is 240V access.

Bought this so I could run my 120V/15 amp Flux core welder without popping the breaker (the manufacturer suggests wiring up a 20 amp dedicated circuit). Simply put my welder draws all 15 amps that the breaker will put out and I didn't want to wire up a 20amp circuit to the house. This fit the bill well. Just plug it into the 30 amp dryer circuit and it has 4 outlets (two are 15 amp with the blue dot, two are 20 amp with the red dot).The cons of this ordeal: the product was dirty like it had been used and returned. And the packaging was tattered and tore up. I cleaned the part up with Armor All wipes I had on hand and it looks like brand new. And the product is made in China. The labeling says the manufacturer is a "Vet Owned Company", so here I was buying from them thinking that they support the US Army Vets - they must be supporting the Chinese Vets or something....I bought this sold as "Overstock" for a nice price of $12, so I can't complain too much though.

We have a lot of outdoor/parking lot events at work, and up until now, we have been using a homemade power board that plugs into the 14-50 outlet on the side of the building and has circuit breakers and outlets screwed to a board. This worked alright, but one of the breakers likes to trip even under small loads.The Iron Forge 50-20amp adapter is here to save the day! This is MUCH more compact than our homemade power board. This unit is nice and tidy and includes surge protection. Anyone can use this, and it is less "scary" for our employees to use.Iron Forge must be pretty confident with their quality, since this unit has a lifetime replacement warranty! We use this adapter at least once a week during the warmer months, and are very happy with it.

I hoped to use this with my generator but unfortunately it didn't fit because this isn't an RV style circle plug as is on my generator. This is a 30A plug its just not the 30A plug that I have. The quality of the cable is really high so I think I will get an adapter for this in the future to be able to use it. For now I had to put it back in the bag because it didn't fit. However I have nothing bad to say about it because it is just a cable but a well made one.
