The extension cord is a lot lighter than I expected. The overall diameter is significantly thinner than the cord that runs to my RV, as well as the Camco-brand 50' extension cord that I have. I'm not sure how they pulled it off while still maintaining the standard 10 gauge wires (maybe thinner insulation?) but it is smaller as a result. With how heavy these things get (versus how infrequently you may end up using them depending on campground) size and weight makes a big difference!The plugs at both ends feel secure, there's a hand-sized handle for plugging and unplugging with ease, and of course it conducts electricity.There is a carrying handle with a strap that keeps the coiled up wire together in a neat bundle and allows easy and neat pulling out of storage and carrying with one hand. I'm kind of neutral opinion on the green color - it blends in with grass which may or may not be a great thing (trip hazard, lawn mower, etc?)

I use this cord to keep my RV plugged in at home and it does the job. But I wish the outer covering were a bit more durable.
