The price point for this set is extremely reasonable for the quality and selections of bits. I just completed a fairly large project which required numerous holes of various sizes in 3/4" and 1/2" plywood. Each bit performed well - they are all well balanced, cut cleanly, and are still sharp. This is a great set!

A wide variety of sharp and accurately sized Forstner drill bits. They all fit 1/4 inch drill chucks and work well with DeWalt cordless drills.It might be overkill and you can buy smaller sets, but this set covers most of the sizes and when you need that one specific size, this can't be beat

I need to drill holes occasionally so I could not justify purchasing a top line bit.I do have a couple of Fisch bits and there is no comparison in the quality of the tool.However, this entire set cost the same as a single Fisch, so one needs to weigh the usage requirements.The Irwin cutting edges are rough and some of the bits had nicks in the cutting edges. The finish of the grind is also very rough.Do these work? Yes, they do.Will they hold up ? Not under heavy use. I only drilled a few holes, and they dull fast. Even when new, they require more pressure to cut.Final comment is that these are a good buy for the woodworker who only needs to drill the occasional hole, as this design bit does make a smoother hole.If you make a living woodworking, get the Fisch, it will be cheaper in the long run.

These are good, solid bits. They take a little getting used to, like any Forstner bit, but that's not specific to these ones. Until you're comfortable with them, its easy to make them hang up in the hole. But again, that's how Forstners work.

Quick delivery and quality product. I needed the variety of sizes for a customized workbench I'm building. All I had prior were Spade bits and those always splintered the wood around the hole.
