Broke a fitting off in my brand new air bag before I even installed them on my car. Ordered this tap and fixed my F up. Don't regret buying this little tap. Tap cut threads perfect. If I can do it, you sure as hell can to.

This is laser marked "Hanson" and "1/8-28BSP USA"It actually cuts British Standard Pipe Tapered (BSPT).It worked well enough to tap the aluminum extruder drive on my 3D printer to accept a 4 mm double-compression fitting (Parker Legris 0105 04 10). I used an 8.8 mm bit but a 21/64" is probably better.

I used this tap to make an adapter block for my Mazda Miata oil pressure sender that has 1/8BSP tapered thread instead of 1/8NPT threads. Tap worked great and arrived very quickly.

As needed for ARB air locker solenoids. Worked well enough to tap mild steel bungs I machined. I used it actually way more than I thought I would for other air related projects.

The tap was used exclusively for aluminium (for PC4-01 pneumatic fittings) mostly for 3d printer applications. The threads were checked against commercial threads and they seem to fit well and seal decently.
