They have been a great pair of pliers. Ive had them a couple weeks now and work in a rebar shop. Theyre holding up great! We cut and tie a lot of wire. The cutting blades still look brand new. Id absolutely buy them again. The grips are good material, a little fat but not too big. Might be hard for someone with smaller hands. They get picked up/dropped a lot and still not damaged.Update: Grips came loose and would slide off. I just poured some super glue down the grips and let it dry. Theyve even been run over by an 8k pound forklift. Theyre still in great shape, grips have smoothed out a little from use. and function flawlessly.

I'm a aerospace tig welder and believe me I make great money and have shopped around trying to find a good pair of cutters that actually last. These lasted longer than klien, knipex and other way more expensive high class cutters on super alloy and other hardened alloys. These actually last and iv been cutting tig wire for over a year now and the cutting edge is still absolutely perfect. Cutting rene 220, inconel 718 and 625 kills alot of cutters let alone Haynes l605 cobalt wire which is an extremely hard cobalt tungsten alloy. If I were you I'd buy these. I'll not buy another pair til they die and I'll buy these again. I mean that. Hope you read this and realize how good these actually are.

These feel great in my hand to work with not heavy in my opinion. The design of the handle hits nice in my hand and the design of the cut of the pliers grip is amazing! I would definitely buy these again.

As an electrician, you need a reliable pair of pilers. These are no kleins but they are a nice second so far. Nice weight, which I like to have. Strong cut on them, even good on MC cable. Great grip for twisting wire, (sometimes a bit too good). I am putting them through their paces and they are, so far, holding up well with a typical beating. The only issue I am having, is getting used to the grip. It is a bit boxy and hard, compared to a klein set, which is typically smooth and fits to your grip a bit easier.

Amazing quality out of Irwin, comfortable to use, great design for both cutting wire and grip 100% would recommend for someone just getting started that needs quality lineman, or someone moving on from their starter tools

I use pliers everyday for my job, I’ve been working for 40 years now and have used every make there is, Knipex, Klein, snap on, I can honestly say that these Irwin bad boys are best bang for buck bar none, would definitely recommend
