It will then stay on until you move from under the sensor. You can also override the automatic feature by pressing the manual override button. This allows the water to run for three minutes until you press the manual override button again, sending it back to the automatic feature. Saving money, keeping your family healthy, and helping preserve the world's natural resources has never been easier.

It fit my faucet really well and was super easy to install. Best of all, it works! Saves water. No turning faucet handles on and off. The sensor works fine, but clear and black items it does not sense as well as most other items. You stop the automatic sensor at any time. If you happen to forget to shut off water, it will revert back to auto mode and shuts off water after 3 minute. Great safety feature.I tested that feature and it worked perfectly.

First you need to know this will not fit a Price Pfister. You have to purchase an adapter. I watched all the video and it "looked" simple enough. We got this because our 95 year old father has difficulty remembering to turn off the water. The easy installation was not so easy. I had to purchase an adapter and I could not get the device to attach to the faucet without leaking under the pressure of the water. You are supposed to be able to leave the water turned on so you can use the hand sensor. Unfortunately the hand sensor NEVER worked. While I was testing the 3 minute turn off... which did work... the pressure of holding the water under pressure with the device caused something inside the faucet to break and water poured under the sink from up inside the faucet base. At this point I was forced to purchase a new faucet! Which meant I had to Purchase TWO because it was a double vanity sink. I also had to get a plumber to replace the faucets. So my cost for this $35.99 fix was - device $35.99 - adapter $1.95, TWO new faucets $109, Plumber $185.00. Total cost for a device that never worked right $331.94

I have bought 4 of these. The first one on the guest bathroom sink failed within 30 days, so I returned it to Amazon. The first one on the primary bathroom sink quit just before the year warranty for the unit was up, so I tried reaching out to the manufacturer and crickets. Tried two more times and never got a response, so I just bought another one so the cats won’t be confined to a single sink for drinking.

This product is great. After suffering a stroke, my husband would sometimes leave the faucet running. Now that worry is gone. It installed easily on my two-handled Moen faucet with male end. No leaking at all (don't use the extra black washer if your faucet has male end). The sensor responds perfectly. You can also press the on button to use without the sensor - water will run for 3 minutes and then shut off and go back to sensor mode, or press the off button to shut off and return to sensor mode. If something were to fall in the sink and the water came on, it would only run for 1 minute. I was so happy with this quality product, I bought another one for the second bathroom.

Excellent product! I love it and it works like a charm!I bought this for my master bathroom because I was aware that I waste a lot of water brushing my teeth, washing hands, shaving, etc. and I wanted to do something about it. This product has definitely resolved that problem and I highly recommend it.The installation was extremely easy and it literally does just take a few minutes. However, the instructions tell you to connect the unit to the faucet and then install the batteries. Well, I was skeptical because the battery compartment is to the left and you have to pull out the compartment to get to the batteries. I figured it would be a bit awkward to try to pull down once it was attached to the faucet, so I installed the batteries prior to attaching the unit to my faucet.Getting that battery compartment pulled out, though, was quite challenging. They definitely need to re-engineer that aspect of the product. I found it very tricky and difficult; it took me a while but I finally got it and was glad that I had not followed the instructions to attach the unit prior to installing the batteries. I definitely have some angst when the time will come to change the batteries. After attaching it to my faucet and then turned the water on, the water just continued to run! I thought the product wasn't working! However, in the instructions, there is a troubleshooting section that mentions if this happens, it has something to do with the sensor being too dry to run the water for a few minutes. Sure enough, after a minute or so, the sensor kicked in and the water stopped running. It works really, really well and I'm extremely glad I bought it! There's no doubt I'll be saving money on my water bill from now on.

I have only had this item for a short time but so far it is working well. When working in the kitchen it is great. Rather than having the water running continually when washing/rinsing dishes, cleaning up, making sausage, trimming meat, cooking, etc I can quickly rinse my hands, knives or whatever without wasting water. It should pay for itself in no time by the money I will save in water and water heating.Update Jan 13, 2013We have had three of these. They have all malfunctioned after about 6 months. I do not know for certain why but I suspect that it is due to the hard water in our area. I have tried taking them apart and cleaning them but they still do not work correctly. Due to the cost of the item we no longer use anything on our faucet. I sure wish I could get them to work again!

What a disappointment! Product does not work at all- water continues to flow through unit, despite multiple reprogramming attempts, battery removals and resets. Absolutely zero obstructions, either. To top it all off, we called the Customer Service number listed on the box of the unit, and the representative who took our call couldn't have seemed less interested in helping us. We were advised right off the bat that the unit was defective, and that she couldn't assist us (prior to any troubleshooting at all). Returning item and will be looking for a different brand and model to order. Save yourself the hassle!

Easy to install and setup. works well. it takes a bit of time to set the water while you flush toilet. I found that you have to flush toilet to set this up as the cold water pressure is different once the toilet has stopped filling. Be careful as I almost burned myself when I did not flush toilet because the cold water pressure is different.

Got this for our cat and his "princess drinks" as we call them (he only drinks out of a running faucet, lol). It works as advertised except it scares him when it kicks in. But that has nothing to do with the mediocre rating I gave:It's made of plastic and feels somewhat fragile. Even the fitting that screws into the faucet is made of plastic. Better have a roll of Teflon tape on standby or you are probably going to have a leak around the seal.If it was made of metal, it would be worth the price and I would give it five stars. However, being that it's the ONLY option I could find other than replacing the entire faucet (we are tenants), it's not bad.
