I had a different brand of touchless trash can for 15 years or so but I washed it once and of course, it stopped working. After a couple weeks of waving my hand at a regular trash can I went ahead and bought this one. It was a good price and the unit appears to work well. I can't speak to it's durability yet but it seems to be fairly solid. It looks just like a regular trash can and since it's plastic and the top is removable it's easy to clean.

The lid malfunctioned after a month of use. Spoke to the seller and they sent me a new one! Great customer service and good product

I absolutely loved this for about a month then the motor on it went out. At first I thought it just needed batteries, but I replaced them and it still doesn’t work so now I have to touch the lid to open it because there is no other options. The buttons don’t work either. So don’t waste your money just go to Walmart

Contacted the manufacturers because kid did not work upon arrival. They shipped a new lid within a few days and has been working great. It is a beautifully modern trash can with a sleek elegant look, I love it. It’s in an Airbnb apt; hopefully, it endures the wear and tear.

Looks perfect in my kitchen at the end of my island. Easy set up, just batteries and flip the switch on. Zero customization, it’s either open for 5 seconds or closed. Makes cooking very easy. Motion sensors have perfect sensitivity level, my large dog doesn’t set it off when walking by. Would recommend

Love this trash so much! I had a few previously that I just didn't like or they didn't work properly. It is scary though walking past this late night and it opens LOL. It is even German Shephard and Husky proof. My GSD learned how to open my other trashes. The only thing I didn't give it 5 stars for was the sensitivity is a bit crazy, but that may be since we have it in a high traffic area and cleaning around the panel is a pain as well. No more sticky lids, opens and waits a few seconds and closes right up. I am very happy with this purchase.
