I bought the 500A 1000V Fast Charge EV Adapter (NACS to CCS) to use with the free chargers at Amazon Fresh, and it works great for my Tesla. Charging is fast, the connection is secure, and it’s easy to use. Just plug it in. It’s a bit pricey and slightly bulky, but the convenience makes it worth it. If you need a reliable adapter for public charging, I highly recommend it!

Saved me a lot of money! I have had a Level 2 charging station at my house for 10 years, but this was my first Tesla so this was a great solution without having to purchase a new charging station. Had it almost a year now and still works flawlessly. I use it every day. Peace of mind to know you can use any charging station you like while on the road. I leave the one that came with the car in my trunk so having is great. A must have accessory.

The experience was not ideal. First, the connection was not very stable, and sometimes I had to adjust it several times to ensure good contact when plugging it in. Second, the adapter occasionally overheated during charging, causing the charging speed to slow down, and sometimes it would disconnect automatically. Although the price is more affordable than other charging adapters, the poor stability made me feel very uneasy when traveling long distances. Overall, this adapter is not recommended.

I ordered this because I had forgotten that my 2 y.o. Tesla 3 CAME WITH ONE OF THESE.Would have been nice to have in Grand Canyon National Park lodges where they have many J1772 chargers in the parking lots. Very convenient if you have the adapter. The Tesla Supercharger station is outside the park gates.

I have a level 2 charger in my garage. I got a spare adapter so I can leave this one permanently attached to my at home charger and have the Tesla supplied adapter in the vehicle for emergencies. This one works and the price was fair.
