I purchased this as a spare, since I leave my Tesla adapter at home on my charger. I use one at home since my charger is a J1172. I tested this one for several charging sessions at home and it did fine, charged and no heat noted. I will keep this one in car, since it is slightly smaller and has a nice travel case.

My OEM adapter broke so I got this. It is smaller and comes with a small carrying case so it is very convenient and easy to carry and use.

If you have a Tesla charger and also want to be able to charge a different vehicle that uses the J-1772 connector from the same charger, this is the adapter for youI bought this adapter because the one I had purchased previously was just too long and awkward. This one is half the length. Easy to use locking feature.

The product saved my bacon, but at half the speed. Was towing with my Tesla Cyber Truck and would not make it to the next super charger. The Electrify America charger was nearby. 2 were the 150KV and 2 were the 350KV chargers. Started with the 350KV, it took my credit card, started to charge, then stopped with an error. Moved to the next 350KV charger, same problem. Tried the 150KV and it wouldn’t take my credit card. Tried the last 150KV charger and it different card, and it worked. Took 1 hour to charge 50%. Just enough to get to the next charger. I would recommend searching for a 500KV adapter if you can find one. This was my only choice at the time, and it did work, but slowly.

Simple and easy to use adapter. Comes with locking ring. Affordable and gets the job done. Id recommend this to anyone looking for one.
