This adapter works, but it's pricy. I've tried it up against a cheaper version that also says it goes up to 250kw and this one doesn't perform any better. They are both charging at the same speed. While this does look more robust, if everything is the same, I'd go with the cheaper one. I plan to try both out as I've only been able to use the both a few times.

Just be aware of that Tesla limits its superchargers. So you can’t use them just because now you have a NACS charger. Had to learn it the hard way during a roadtrip.

I bought this charger for my Cheverlot Equinox EV which is JS1772 and CCS1 only. The build quality of the charger is very nice. Plastic does not feel cheap or give away in certain spots. The adapter has a nice weight to the charger which makes me feel that it uses quality materials.My main concern at the moment is that the charger does not have safety certifications. for North America. I tried this using the adapter with Tesla home charger and it did not seem to work. I am a little hesitant at charging with this at a SuperCharger due to the electrical ratings and lack of safety certifications.However, at the moment it is near impossible to purchase a legit Tesla adapter from the dealership. This will make do until more third party adapters become main stream and available in Canada.
