I've had an air compressor in my shop building for decades with a line dedicated specifically to bike/car tire fills. For many years, I repurposed the universal Presta/Schrader head from an old Bontrager floor pump as my inflator chuck. This worked really well but eventually wore out, and Trek no longer makes that part. So I bought a Chinese look-alike chuck here on Amazon. That chuck never worked very well. You had to push really hard to get it to fully seat on a Presta valve, and even when it was new it would leak if you jiggled it even the slightest bit. It didn't take very long for that piece of junk to stop sealing completely, so I decided to take a chance on this JACO chuck based on the mostly glowing reviews.Wow, what a difference! This thing clips securely onto a Presta valve with almost no force needed. Even better, IT STAYS PUT AND DOESN'T LEAK! Removal is just as easy - push on the black plastic button, and the chuck pops right off with no air loss. It also rotates on its mount, making it easy to get the chuck lined up with the tire's valve. I haven't owned this long enough to speak to its durability, but it does seem solidly built. In theory, this chuck is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves, but attaching to a Schrader valve requires unscrewing/removing the Presta head to reveal a threaded Schrader fitting where the Presta head attaches. I'm sure it's functional, but I feel like repeated removal/installation would compromise its longevity - there's a little o-ring that could get chewed up or lost during removal. Also, I don't like Schrader fittings that have to be screwed to the valve stem. The Presta feature is all I really care about, and that part of this chuck is just brilliant.Keep in mind that this chuck does not have a check valve in it. Air will flow freely in and out of the chuck in both directions. This is perfect if you're using it with a gauge-equipped inflator gun, because you can see your tire pressure the second you connect. But you can't just connect this directly to a compressor hose like you would one of those old-school gas station chucks. If you did, you'd have full pressure blasting out of the end of the chuck the second you turned on the air to the hose, regardless of whether it was on a tire or not.

Hooked up to my dedicated bike air tank and use a Jako inflator. Just unscrew the schrader end off the inflator and screw on this presto valve. It also converts to schrader by removing the presta head. Well designed. No leakage. Easy to use.

Adapter works mega for presta valves. Have not used it for Schrader, as unscrewing seems inconvenient. Instead, I opted to screw on a Schrader to 1/4" NPT adapter, then pop the whole enchilada onto the end of a Jaco FlowPro 2.0 for filling my MTB tires. Works awesome and can switch from filling Schrader to presta in just a second.

I bought this to use with my Lezyne floor pump, which has a screw-on presta chuck that was pain to get on and off. The Jaco lightening chuck worked fine first month or two, then I had to twist it a bit once engaged to get it to stay on, and then it wouldn't stay on at all without me holding it place while I pumped with one hand. Amazon's 30-day return was long past, but I noticed the supplier offered a lifetime backing of their product, so I contacted them with my Amazon order number, and a replacement is on the way. Outstanding customer service, and hopefully the new chuck will do its thing for a long time.

I have several presta options I have tried. Even the 160.00 park tool Inflator. The way this locks on is a dream come true. I purchased a metal digital bike Inflator that already had a presta value on it. I was unsatisfied with how sometimes it would leak or not connect well. I have a trek pump that does a good job of looking on,but it's as easy to connect as this. I tried a park tools Inflator and even that isn't as good as this. With the digital Inflator, I found I had to remove the hose and ordered a new Inflator hose to connect this presta value connector. The combination of the metal digital Inflator, new hose and this presta value head is the best combination I have found to date. Finding the correct hose was a pain so here's a link.Hose linkhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B003CPZRMQ?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_imageThe Inflator I used.https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07JXSSJYR/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_7?smid=A3GIBPG1NLZCB&psc=1

I've gone through 5 or 6 of these over the last couple years. This one lasted about a month. The same thing happens every time - the back end blows off. My regulator is set to 40 psi and I use it to pump up mountain bike tires. I like the quick release, but I wish I could find something else out there with more durability.

I've tried so many different pneumatic presta adapters that either wore out fast or were just crap. This JACO adapter fits perfectly, easily, and doesn't leak. Outstanding steel quality. I finally found a reasonably priced adapter that should last forever. Note, I also purchased the whole Jaco assembly.

Works extremely well. Secure fitting onto the valve stem and simply pull up on the body of the inflator to remove. Bought to use with a compressor for setting up tubeless tires.

I wanted a quick way to attach presta valves (all our family bikes have presta) to whatever pump. We use an old track pump and an electric Ryobi pump. This attaches to both and works seamlessly. Does what it says, quick connect, no air loss and super quick disconnect. If attaching to an electric pump, you dont need the end bit. That is just if youre attaching it to a compressor or such fitting. Highly recommended and from my research this is the only one that fits the bill. Its expensive but, IMHO, miles better than the Silca one. That just didnt work properly for me.

This thing works EVERY TIME! Coupled with the “JACO FlowPro Tire Inflator with Pressure Gauge - 200 PSI“ this is a complete solution. No more fiddling with hose clamps and adapters. Highly recommend the Seller - Layger. Excellent customer support. Thank you!

I only gave it four stars due to the price. I guess you pay for what you get and I'm quite impressed with this presta chuck compared to what I was using before. It doesn't leak once its seated on the valve and the push button release is a nice touch when you're done inflating. I had to remove the 1/4" fitting that came with it in order to install it on my 12volt portable compressor. Only time will tell if it holds up but so far I give it a thumbs up.
