This is one of those stupid little kitchen gadgets I don't think anyone can live without. Easy to use, so handy to open bottles that are really tight since I never picked up my gym membership again after COVID. I bought another a couple of years back - and apparently, our house was burgled, and the ONLY thing they took was that bottle opener. Much more useful than the silver. Love it!Maybe the dogs thought it was a toy and buried it, or it will turn up under a couch if we ever move, but no worries - you can't have too many of these things.

It worked really well with jars and ok with bottles. I'll probably pick up some more and give them as gifts.

I bought these to open large-mouth jars of spaghetti sauce, but the tool that is meant to go around the lid to grip while applying more torque with the handle isn't grippy enough material. Needs to be a different type of rubber or plastic, or needs to be manufactured with a design inside the rings that will increase friction against metal lids so that the friction is stronger than the torque needed to twist the lid off. I gave this product 3 stars instead of 1 because the smaller, prying tool was able to get the lids off.

I often had to ask someone to open something for me, but this does the trick. VERY thankful to have it at hand. I use it nearly daily.

Not worth the money. If you can’t open a jar, you will not be able to use this. Very hard to put on jar and turn. Battery operated one would be preferable, if its exists.
