These things are great! The logs burn long, hot and clean so your food doesn’t get any soot or ash on it as you cook. And the best part, when done cooking, you can soak them in water and save them for another cook making them a super economical buy! These are a must have for any backyard bbq cook!

This is perfect for making the most tender slow cooked brisket! The hex shape made it simple to control the heat directly under the brisket and it burned for 18 hours in my Egg consistently. The next day I used what was still burning to cook up steaks on high heat. Well worth it! I am always on the lookout for organic products including charcoal to make sure that I am not putting any chemicals in my food so this fits the bill and helps me make delicious grilled meats.

These are nice coals. Dont smoke much if at all. Provide adequate heat once fully active but they are hard to light and I mean HARD. I used a torch but could only light a portion and eventually ended up using my gas stove top where I had to lay each one around a gas burner for about 15-30 minutes turning them over until the whole piece was lit. I started to question the logic of using these at some point. I may use a chimney next and put something in the bottom to hold a flame for 15-30 minutes but at some point you wonder why go through all this trouble

Incredible heat for searing, and lasted eternity for smoking. I recommend only using a 1-2 pieces to start because this charcoal burns much hotter than any other charcoal. Very clean burn. I used this charcoal in both my weber and kamado, and very impressed.

Great product as it burned really hot and was able to get a great char on my steakand was able to get long lasting indirect heat for cooking chicken.The shape was great as it really allowed me to stack the sticks to really focus theheat where I needed it and the heat lasted a really long time.Taste was great as always from JD

Hex is amazing, burns hot burns longer, and burns clean. Great for offset smokers, I had some still solid after a competition BBQ cook still glowing 4 hours later!

Love this charcoal! Super hardwood charcoal that takes 30-60 mins to get burning but that’s because of how this is made. Burns hot and can reuse multiple times. Highly recommend.

used in ceramic smoker, high heat when needed to sear and burns slow for the long smokes, shape was novel to me as i was accustomed to the standard lumps, but made fo placement and stacking well, heats up quick in the chimney starter too!
