These are great! You can't leave them on the handles while the pot is cooking because the holders get hot too, but they're SO much easier to deal with than potholders. I love them!

This pan heats up well, cleans up well and gives food a char grilled look and flavor. Love doing fajitas and steak but will try more things. The one thing I don’t like is that even with the red rubber handle covers you still can’t pick it ip without hot pads. It’s very hot!! I got the xtra large and it’s perfect for two or three people.

Red silicone handle protectors are a nice looking $6 add-on, but to be honest, they’re of little practical use, since they’re not to be attached to the pan while cooking, and they get as dangerously hot as the pan itself if you somehow manage to attach them just before or after removing the pan from heat. If you value the skin on your hands, you'll use regular pot holders or oven mitts for your own good.

I was excited to get these. I had read a number of reviews that talked about how hot they got, but that seemed to be only when they were put into the oven. I am afraid they fail even if they are only put on for less than a minute.I used them to pull my dutch oven out of the oven (which had been at 450F). They were not on the dutch oven in the oven, I only slid them on when I pulled it out.I left them on for about 30 seconds while I took the lid off of the dutch oven and then went to put the dutch oven back in the oven. They were starting to scorch my fingers and well on their way to being dangerously hot.I really wanted to like these, but they get too hot too quickly - even if not put on while in the oven.:(

I love this product! Made my cooking experience a lot easier and less painful. I only need them for one pan, but they fit several others that we own. They are easy to use, wash, put on and off.

We purchased the Whatever Pan and it has been a great addition to our kitchen. However, the handles are a disappointment as they are rather thin silicone that provide limited protection from red hot handles if the pan is removed from the oven or barbecue. They are overpriced and inferior when compared to cheaper "claw-style" finger silicone mitts we had laying around the kitchen. To make matters worse, the seller requires that you pay postage should you wish to return this product, so make sure you factor that in prior to purchasing.

We purchased a Whatever Pan earlier in the year but had no occasion to use it until recently. The pan is excellent but we soon discovered that the handles, understandably, got very hot in use, hence our purchase of the silicone handles. They slip over the existing handles and make the pan easy and safe to use. Excellent!
