Does just what a bridge template should. Includes good figures for string height, template to shape bridge and space strings. Love it.

This is a handy tool for my amateur attempts at luthier chores. We don't have a luthier is town so this helps with my temporary fixes.Real luthiers are a bargain at any price...to me.

It's a good quality product but not quite as useful as I thought it would be. All measurements on it seem to be accurate. But it's black which makes it hard to see and use on a black ebony fingerboard. It was useful for shaping the top of the bridge and spacing the strings on the bridge and I'm glad I got it for that reason. but it is harder to use on the ebony nut.

works well for marking position but prefer a string lifter for marking shape and size

This gage has many possibly useful reference markings, but the finish is very easily damaged just in basic handling making it not very durable. Great care has to be considered in using this gage if you want it to last.

It's much faster than the ruler and has all the proper angles and measurements.
