Bit Winder is pretty cool. Been wanting to buy one of these for a long time now and glad in did. Use it with my medium power drill and works well. Product seems high quality and great price. Would recommend.

I used this for the first time with my power screw driver and it greatly reduced the time to restring my guitar.

This works really well for taking strings off of an electric guitar. I don't like using it to put strings back on because its too tough to control the speed. I'd rather put my strings back on with a hand winder where I better feel under control. It's probably me but I'll keep using it to take them off fast and put them back on slow.

100% legit Dunlop Universal Bit Winder. I've been restoring an old bass guitar and I'm learning as I go. I have been experimenting with different replacement saddles when no original parts are available and no replacement parts are made (Aria). Even though I was reluctant to use it at first, opting for handwinding for newb safety. That got old quick. The Bit Winder makes it pretty fast and easy. I'm an idiot and used this on a Dewalt power drill at the lowest setting gently feathering the trigger while keep tension and guiding the srtring with the other hand. The more lined up it is with the axis of the tuner, the less wobbly it is. Just go slow, ease up and hand tune near the end. It's intended for use with electric screwdrivers not power drills so that would help with the ergonomics of keeping it aligned with the tuner peg as well as lessen the chance of snapping a string. It fit the slender metal tuners on my electric bass and the plastic pegs of a tiny acoustic guitarelle due to the countoured slot design. For the price its absolutely worth it for the time and hassle it saves, especially if you restring often or have a project guitar.

This is a quality tool. It’s made by Dunlop and it lives up to its expected reputation.Keep in mind that this is a universal fit, it will not fit your tuner like a glove. This is not something you put on the drill and go full speed with. If you do you can severely damage the instrument. You must use a variable speed drill. I work with tools all the time so I had a pretty good idea what to expect. Slow and steady will get the job done and faster than if you did it by hand. The quality of the bit is very good, the bit locks in the drill tightly. The price is just right at $10.00I have no problem recommending this.

Easy peasy. Put it on a little hobby drill and it's perfect. I wouldn't try to ugga dugga this thing with an impact drill but you do you. Change your strings like a pit-stop. Good value for money. Quality seems solid. Looks cool.
