The heated Queen mattress pad came vacuum packaged and well boxed. The fabric is very nice and the pad appears quite sturdy yet soft. The cords are plenty long to reach from the foot of the bed to the top for placement of the controllers. The controllers are simple with a 1 - 9 temperature setting, a 1-9 hour timer and an on/off button.I installed the mattress heating pad under our regular mattress pad so it would stay tidy. I set the controls to level 8 heat and 2 hour timer and it was a bit too toasty but certainly nice not to crawl into a bed with 45 degree sheets. Tonight we'll try a temp level 5 perhaps

Warms the surface rather than just a blanket. Plus my mattress was a little to soft and adding this over it made it just a little firmer and now it's perfect. Gets very warm too.

We loved the way it fit our deep mattress and it was comfortable to sleep on. We only use it to warm the bed before sleep and it did a nice job.I was very disappointed with the instruction manual. It's a nice, 10 page color brochure with lots of instructions and cautions about use and care but it only has 6 lines and no picture of the controls. We figured it out but it would be nice to have a photo of the control with arrows or icons of the buttons and a simple explanation of each function.

I grew up using heating mattress pads and my kids wanted one- this one is no joke!! It has up to a 9 hour auto shut off setting and the heat settings goes up to 9. Honestly, we only set it at like 5 or 6! It does its job very well and warms up pretty quick. Great price for the value.
