1. Why I need this microphone cable adapter?
----This is specially designed for select Fujifilm cameras, as some of the Fujifilm cameras have a 2.5mm mic jack instead of a standard 3.5mm mic jack, while most of the camera microphones sold in the market are with 3.5mm TRS mic jack, if you want to use these microphones with 3.5mm TRS jack, you need to get this mic audio adapter, otherwise, you will have to get the OEM Fujifilm microphone with 2.5mm TRS jack.
2. Where is the 2.5mm mic jack of the X-T3?
----It is the 2.5mm remote socket on your camera, as a matter of fact, the 2.5mm remote socket on some of these Fujifilm cameras is also a microphone socket. So both a mic and remote go into this 2.5mm socket.
3. Does it work with the Fujifilm X-T4?
----It does not work with the Fujifilm X-T4 as this camera already has a 3.5mm (1/8 inch) TRS female mic jack. As a matter of fact, other Fujifilm cameras such as Fujifilm X-T3, X-T2, X-H1, X-E4, X-S10, X-T200, GFX 50R, GFX 50S and GFX 50S II don’t require the need of this mic audio adapter, you can use a microphone with standard 3.5mm TRS jack on these cameras directly.
4. Does it work with the Canon Rebel T7?
----No, it does not work with any Canon camera, this mic cable adapter is only designed for selected Fujifilm cameras, though there is a 2.5mm socket on this camera, it is for the use of a remote shutter cord instead of a microphone.
5. I have a microphone with TRRS jack (4 poles), is it compatible with this mic cable?
----No, it is not compatible. Your mic with TRRS jack is designed for smart devices such as phone and tablet with a 3.5mm TRRS female headphone jack, since the 3.5mm female mic jack on this cable adapter is a TRS type (3 poles), if you want to use your existing mic with this mic adapter cable on your Fujifilm camera, you need to extra buy a 3.5mm male TRS to 3.5mm TRRS female adapter.

Great price for the value of this audio cord when converting the smaller audio to the regular mic cords. I like the design of the small end which makes it easier to detach from the camera. I bought two of these cords to make sure I’m always covered. You never know when you need to adapt and when you’re working you don’t have time to waste.

I used this cord for my Cannon Dslr camera and it worked perfectly. just make sure you change your setting in your camera to make sure you are using the microphone.

I wish I would have got a 3.5 to 2.5mm jack without it being a cable. It works and although the cable isn't long it is added length from the Rode videomicro to this. Unnecessary cable that just gets in the way. I found a cheap adapter on ebay for under 2 bucks and went with that instead. I don't think the added length will be necessary on any DSLR camera so I wouldn't recommend for that purpose. 4 stars because it works and my audio comes out fine.

I have a rode mic but my new Fujifilm X-T30 cannot use it directly as the mic port on Fuji X-T30 is 2.5mm instead of standard 3.5mm. I am glad that this cable is available on Amazon and it allows me to use my rode mic on my Fujifilm camera.

Got this to connect a shotgun microphone to my action camera. Didn't work at all. Had to use a different mic. I wouldn't recommend it at all to anyone.

I bought these cords for using in a car. My previous cord was a bit long so it made me uneasy because a socket is behind a gear shift knob. This new cord is fitting pretty well. So it a good combination of price and quality.

I have an old Panasonic GH2 and I wanted to use an external microphone with it. Unfortunately, it comes with a 2.5mm microphone jack, and it's surprisingly difficult to find a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. After reading reviews, I took a chance and pick this up and I'm happy to say it works well.

I use this on my Fujifilm XT-30ii. When I switch it to video mode it detects that my microphone is plugged in. The cable is of good quality and stows away nicely with my microphone in the mic bag.
