- Open the hood and disassemble the front grille.
- Install the anti-theft hood lock and tighten the screws as shown.
- Install the hood lock & original grille. Note: Before closing the hood, the key must be insert-ed in the hood lock.
- When unlocking, twist the key in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure (to the left).
- PS: Press the hood lightly with your hand before unlocking.

I just bought a jeep wrangler & I love it, but didn’t like that the hood didn’t lock. I found this hood lock online & thought I would give it a try & I'm so happy I did. It works great & now I can relax knowing the underneath of my hood won’t be messed with. Jeep batteries are quite expensive & I don’t want mine getting stolen!I definitely suggest buying this product!!

Hi Jeepers, this will be your best upgrade option. I installed mine; installation was easy, and it looks discrete. You will feel more confident leaving your Jeep in the parking lot while you do your shopping's.

Does what it's supposed to do. I have a flat "behind the grill" insert screen (see pics) that the lock needed to sit behind which it did. I simply drilled a hole in the screen in the right spot and finished it off with a grommet. The keys are big but I'm not carrying them... I threw one of them in the storage compartment in the cargo area (I don't get under my hood on a regular basis). I'll be getting one for my wife's Jeep and I'm going to spray paint the lock flat black before installing to essentially have it disappear. Good purchase!

Installation was not as easy as the video depicted, snaking the nut with lock washer through the hole just didn’t happen. I used rivnuts and installed the bolts with red thread locker. Otherwise, it should help to keep honest people honest. Not high security, but will provide some inconvenience to a casual thief. Key is huge but won’t be on my keyring.

The lock is pointless , I am able to place my hand under hood as open as normal. I believe the locking mechanism is not aligned properly for the JL Jeep model.

Pünktlich geliefert, passgenau, nützlich. Einbau etwas fummelig aber das liegt an der Bauart des Jeep.
