Fit my 2013 JKU wrangler perfectly. Had to cut for the locating dowels, which was super easy and expected. They work great! No more hood flutter. It's pretty obvious they are not moulded from the highest quality, but would definitely buy again!

I didn't drill anything. Three nuts to remove. The lower half is a bit of a challenge to get to (nothing to do with the latches, just go in from the bottom side). Change out took less than 10 minutes and they work great. And yes, they look good too.

This product is not worth the time installing and is not worth the money buying. I do not recommend buying these due to the issues I experienced. The spring that holds the metal clamp in place holds these hood latches directly in the way of the hood when closing it. You cannot close the hood because of the clamp blocking it. The only way to close the hood is to hold down both metal clamps the opposite direction.Other than that they look great, they do function in holding down the hood and gets rid of hood flutter. But good luck closing hood when you open it.I’m returning this product because the quality and design of these are cheap.

No more hood lift and bounce. These work great and are really easy to install on a JK with one minor modification of removing the two nylon nipples before installation. Some people complain the hood is hard to close because you need to move the latches out before shutting it but its really not that difficult and a small price to pay to no longer have hood bounce.

Fit fine on my 2013 Jeep Sahara. I did not need to take off the grill. You can reach the nuts with a small 1/4 inch ratchet. Looks great like OEM. My jeep is stock and didn't want any fancy metal ones with pins trying to look like a Nascar. Gave 1 star off because the spring makes a pain to close. As other reviews pointed out. Not sure why there is even a spring there? I may remove the spring so they just lay fully open and then latch it.

I bought these in March & installed early May.They are already rusted & the spring catch on one side has already broken resulting in a weak lock & hood flutter. I have to buy a new latch to replace that side.Otherwise these look great. No hood flutter prior to the spring breaking, mostly easy install, easy to close hood as long as you pay attention to the latches.

As stated in other reviews it's important to drill out the two smaller alignment holes in the hood to line up with the pins on the backside of the latch. Once that is done it fits up great and is very sturdy. You do need 3 hands to close the hood however, the metal loop part is spring loaded and pushes inward when opening the hood and you need to pull them outwards to lower the hood into place. Also there are little rubber inserts in the bottom of the top portion of the latch that fall out and I will have to superglue them in. Overall they're great latches and a bargain at the price but with these caveats.

You must be handy to make these work. These have spring-loaded latch that you need to hold open to open and close the hood. Try holding each side open and closing the hood. You only have two hands. The alignment tabs do not fit a 08 Wrangler you need to grind or file them off to set flush on the fender. The original latches on the fender attached with a single serrated lock nut that fit firmly in the socket. This allowed the nut to stay in the socket while maneuvering it into place when reinstalling. These folks thought it a great idea to use a flat washer and standard lock nut. Now you have to finagle a washer in place and a locknut (which slides up into the deep well socket you have to use) I reused my old hardware. I would have returned them, but I was going on a 200-mile trip and didn't want to watch the hood flutter for miles anymore.

Installed on a 09 jk and no more hood jump when on the highway. A lot more secure than original ones.
