Used this to strip cilantro leaves off their stems. Worked great! Will have to try it with thyme & oregano. I hand washed it. I may give this as stocking stuffers for Christmas.

This herb stripper is an easy, convenient tool that makes harvesting leafy herbs much easier. The holes are punched in metal, creating a sharper edge akin to a blade, allowing the edge to slide off the leaves easily. The "blades" are not so sharp to be like a knife, and my toddlers, in their eagerness to help, were able to strip some thyme and oregano easily.The only complaint I have is that the jump from the little to bigger holes is pretty big-- it would have been nice to get a hole in between for bigger branches of rosemary. Some of my thicker branches are too big for the largest of the small holes, and too small for the smallest of the larger holes.

I had hoped this herb stripper would make it easy to strip the leaves off thyme. It helps a little but still does not work as I had hoped. Maybe it does a better job on other herbs, such as rosemary. I have not tried it on others yet.

I never knew I needed this tool in my life! It is an awesome way to take the leaves off of herbs. Before it used to take me forever and now it's done in a minute! I'm really happy with this kitchen gadget. Naturally there is a rough side from the backside where each hole was punched out. I make sure to have the smoother side be the side I put the stems into just to be sure it doesn't get cut by the rough side. Overall I really like this product and it makes chopping fresh herbs faster and easier!

This has been great for stripping larger quantities of cilantro, but it would not make sense for just a couple stems. You can double- or triple-up stems and pull them through. What takes the most time is deciding which hole to pull them through, but what a huge time-saver this has been. So far we have not used it for anything other than cilantro. We also love that it's stainless and easy to rinse off. If I get a chance, I'll post a video showing how this gadget saves us time.

Used this a few times with rosemary, thyme, cilantro and tarragon. To be honest, I had my doubts.... I thought for sure the stock would break while trying to strip the leaves however it does it (as long as you choose the correct hole size and go against the growth). Certainly makes using fresh herbs much quicker!!
