Removing the backing film (to reveal the adhesive backing) is tricky, but the product is very good.

Heavy duty tape and very sticky. I applied it in sub freezing temp and it still stuck well

It’s not the stickiest I’ve used but it works,took 6 rolls to do an 12x12 deck with blocking.

I have build several wood decks over the years that are all still holding up nicely. This type of product seems to be the new standard if you can believe what you see everywhere on line. I found it to be pretty much what I expected. It is stick and can be tricky to get off the backing tape. Only time will tell if this will really extend the life of a a wood deck. I wonder if it might actual trap water against the wood and accelerate decay in the deck boards. I’ll let you know in 25 years. That’s how old my oldest deck is currently will not issues.

I delayed my review to ensure it’s working. 3 months after I installed it I had to lift a deck board and underneath there was no water or anything not concerned with the rot under my deck boards anymore. Good product would buy again for a new deck.

This tape is great for anything and a great value. It's thick, great quality.
