Looking forward to see how well these hold together when I go cat fishing. I am worried that the bottom clasp that goes with the hook my collapse with a 45-50 lb. cat. SO we'll see.

These are supposedly rated at 100 lbs, but when fishing on the river I caught a decent sized blue cat and as he was landed the leader snapped/came apart at the clasp. The cat wasn't that big. There are a lot of gar in the water so I want to use the steel leaders, but I was so disappointed when I lost that big blue. These aren't quality. Cheap junk. Now there's a fish with a hook in it's mouth because of faulty manufacturing. Don't recommend.

Use these for the main line to flasher for trolling for salmon. Perfect. They help in preventing tangles when using cannonballs. Still have to lower the rig slowly. Also provides a consistent length when rigging.
