Had fun making it with my 4 year old nephew, but some directions unclear. Ended up fun to make a look at. Fun ton was marginal

My granddaughters made these vehicles and gave them to their little brother. They had a great time assembling the race car, truck and motorcycle. Directions were clear, all the parts were provided, and they could follow the instructions or add their own flourishes. The finished vehicles looked great, but they were not sturdy enough to survive I love cozy (British-style) mysteries. Just a Still Life had all the features that make these fun: a small town in Canada where everyone knows everyone; a sympathetic detective fresh from the frustration of a stressful big-city assignment; a homespun cast with characters like Aunt Polly, the postmistress who makes blueberry waffles to comfort her godson; ancestral grudges and old homes with secret passageways; bodies piling-up in the most unlikely places; and plot twists to keep me guessing whodunnit. If you love a good cozy, heat up a cup of cider and open up this book.

It looks really awesome on the box. I thought this would be something fun to do with my grandson. Taking it out of the box was fun to see what was in it. Each item is individually packaged which made it easy to know which was the car, truck and motorcycle. Instructions are decent. The paint supply is good. What's not good? The glue. It takes forever to dry, you have to glue one part at a time to let it dry first. Takes hours to dry. Not fun for a 7 year old. I went out and bought stronger glue so he could complete at least one thing. It was disappointing for both of us. We put together the motorcycle turned out decent. Don't waste your time with the glue in the box.

Such a great product. Used super glue instead of the glue it came with and it is holding up well with my toddler rough playing.

Would of got 5 stars had we not been missing the glue. The kit didn't seem to of been opened before but it's still possible someone opened it, removed the glue or the factory just missed it in this one. Still was fun to build & paint with my 3 year old son. Took a good couple hours.

As this is a Xmas present it looks OK, box isn't damaged and is still sealed, looks like it will give a young man a few hour fun.
