I got one of these at a very low price. The software CD (ver. 2) that came with the unit didn't install the drivers for Win7 Pro and was wonky. After a few foiled attempts to install, I downloaded the current setup software (ver 2.8) from the website and it worked well. It is supposed to work with Win XP, Win7, Win8 and Win10. My intended use for this is to do snapshots of artwork in progress, but it also can record video. You can save still frames or video to your computer or to an SD card. The included cables are sturdy. The remote is also a handy feature. It's quite a versatile and well-built unit. I haven't yet tried the picture-in-a-picture feature.
