I installed them on our chicken coop doors. I live the fact that they do not have to be lined up exactly like other designs. When they are closed they can't open by accident. Large handles are easy to grip and open. Heavy duty for its size class. I love them. If you go to a big box store you won't find anything even close. Especially at this price point.

I bought these to replace the flimsy barrel-bolt latches I purchased from the local hardware store and they did not disappoint. They are rigid and feel well built, and most importantly - racoon proof . My only minor complaint, and it's very minor, is that the holes for the screws aren't countersunk, which means the screw heads will stick out a little. It's purely aesthetic and in no way interferes with function. Again, very minor complaint and would in no way stop me from purchasing again.

This is a good, sturdy product, but is designed to work on a shed door, a fence gate or something large and heavy. I tried to use this to replace a barrel bolt on a piece of outdoor furniture and it was simply too much bolt for the job. Also wanted to use another of these on a screen door. Way too much bolt for that as well.

These are good spring loaded latches. They work great and they can be locked in the open position when needed. I think they are a good value.

This is exactly what I needed. Doors on wooden storage shed were loose and not staying closed tightly. I placed this at the exterior top of the main door and now the doors hold closed nice and tight. One door had one on the inside, so this was for the second door so they are both now fully closed.
