Easy installation. Spring is strong enough to push the cabinet door open that has self closing hinges. Although this is a larger push-to-open mechanism, we tried installing a smaller size, different brand, and it didn’t have a strong enough spring to push the door open because of the power of our self-closing hinges. We are extremely pleased with these push-to-open mechanisms. Also, you have the option to drill a hole and insert to install or mount it on the inside of the cabinet wall.

I installed these on some IKEA cabinets in my new condo. You must have enough clearance to drill a pilot hole (we had to figure out how to remove a drawer above one location) and screw these in, just as an FYI. My cabinets have super tall doors, and I installed these at the bottom (the only place available), so I just use my foot to push in the latch to open or close them.

I bought three types and returned the other two. This one looks great is very simple and sleek to install as the screws on the cabinet side are hidden. It’s also very easy to adjust the throw (push) is big enough to work with European (now most American as well) frameless cabintry where you have another door-drawer 1/8†away.

Magnet was too weak so I had to superglue another set of magnets on the door as well. Two of these and two rare earth magnets held the door closed, one was not enough to hold on to the door when closed. Easy to install with the enclosed screws.

The optional adjustment is nice so you don't need to install it perfectly. They feel a little chintzy, but they seem to be holding up well. Probably will eventually replace with traditional handles as to save the front of the cabinet from being constantly touched.

La cocina de mi mamá tiene muchos años y al hacer una pequeña remodelación, no encontramos jaladeras de bronce iguales a las anteriores, asà que a las nuevas puertas se les pusieron estos aditamentos. Además cierran con cierta fuerza que impide que el gato abra la puerta.
