These are great to have in case you are a situation where it is difficult to run cables to your battery at the front of the car. You can use the tow plug instead to get a jump from behind.

This set of cables is versatile. I have actually used this within 7 days of receiving on a jump rescue at the grocery store. The feature was the 7 Pin connector . The vehicle was face first in the parking space with no access. I plugged in the 7 Pin port and charged the battery enough to start.NICE .It's a completely capable jumper cable in the first standard configuration and in the 7 Pin. I recommend this set.

I need to address the false claim up front: “these unique car jumper cables allow you to jump-start your vehicle from the back, the safe way to jump a car, offering more convenience. No need for another car!â€This is NOT the manufacturer’s intent. It’s simply wrong to assume you can jump start your dead truck battery from “itselfâ€. The manufacturer even states this (see image)Otherwise, this would earn the full five stars. As designed and intended....these are very good quality cables. EXCELLENT. The option to use a 7-pin plug from a GOOD vehicle to a dead battery is very useful. They even include an extra fuse. The cables are solid and the connection that snaps the two ends together makes it perfect for use as “traditional†jump cables when a ‘rescue’ vehicle with 7-pin plug is not available.

These are really cool. I've never seen jumper cables that can connect to the trailer light connector. This is such a good idea. The quality of the cables is nice and thick. Sturdy construction. Comes with a connector so that you can turn these into regular jumper cables, if needed. Comes with a storage bag. I got these to keep in our pickup truck.

This jumper kit comes in a nice carrying bag. I haven't used it yet and hope to never have to, but I like the versatility of it. I am intrigued by using the 7pin plug to help someone jump their dead battery. The cable looks good. It's not cheap or thin, like I've seen elsewhere. Great tool to keep in the truck for those unlucky moments.
