Lid opens to no more than 60 degrees and stays closed when not in use, isolating contents from fire sources and limiting oxygen to virtually eliminate the risk of spontaneous combustion. Round construction and elevated base allow circulation of air around can to disperse heat and reduce moisture build-up and rusting. Durable steel construction with a powder-coat finish provides chemical resistance. Foot-operated self-closing lid, can for oily waste, Red. 10 gallon capacity.

This is what I been wanting for a while now and It works as expected for dirty shop rags . easy to use and has 6 shop rags in currently and way more room to hold more. definitely recommend this to anyone. PROS: very durable, strong, lots of room inside,CONS: NONE.

Great product, does its job (holds dirty shop rags) only real comment is that the metal is of a slightly lighter gauge (thinner metal) than my older rag cans.

It is sturdy and the lid opens and closes easily. It does the job! I am a fine art painter and I put paper towels with oil paint and solvent in it.

I like the color, and the foot lever. Easy to locate in our construction warehouse.

This is a well put together can, good to have around as many municipalities and insurance companies require them.

This is what you want to toss your oily finishing rags into. The foot lid lift keeps you from having to grab the lid with an oily rag. Just remember to empty it at the end of the day.

For the garage workshop that has it all. A fire resistant trashcan. If you EVER EVER use boiled linseed oil or other unstable oil stuff these things can literally save your life, and your house. A great can for the safety conscious DIY'er
