Use for industrial parts clean and fluid disposal. The grate metal rusts easy but I think that's just due to the varied fluids we work with. A lot of carcinogens, oil, and aviation fuels. So I can see how that might make the material degrade. Still works perfect though! Highly recommend for personal automotive use.

Upon opening the shipping container the outer hinged lid was not welded in the proper position thus the hinged side sits an inch higher than the opposing side. The rivet that holds the lid to the offset welded hinged is so loose it appears as if it could also be rotated as well as flipped backward to open it. The mesh basket has two lips that are held on by 4 welded claws that are supposed to hold the mesh screen in place, but the claws are so poorly positioned that the crimped lip that is supposed to be held by the 4 claws appears to be in the overall poor quality construction as the rest of the product. I tried to perform a return item, but this doesn't qualify so my advice is to buy local where you can see and touch what you are spending your hard earned dollars on.

So, this is basically all you could really ask for I suppose. The only thing I'm disappointed by is that the video shows a cleaning basket with handles, which would keep your hands out of the chemicals. However, no such basket was included, only the can. I really want that basket, and hopefully I can find it. If not, I guess I'll just be soaking my hands in acetone all day. I'm sure that's fine.

Purchased this product and discovered the lid did not seal and no gasket.... Tried to return to find out not refundable.

There is a fair amount of paint overspray on the interior of the safety can. I used the safety can for acetone, and the acetone dissolved the paint thus making the acetone pink. If it weren't for the paint overspray, this product would be great. But as it is, I cannot use it for my desired purpose.

This thing Sucks Ass, it's an absolute PITA to use, and IF it pops a part while in-use, All of your parts and 'Flammable Liquid' comes flying out like a Goddam jack in the box!The WORST PART of this POS is that whatever "Flammable Liquid" You use will evaporate completely in like a few days...That's Correct, about a gallon a week or so WASTED!Piss poor design and WAAAY Overpriced.
