Looks nice. Magnetic mounting is great add over old suction cup. Easy to read unlike some other versions. Good value.

I love this thermometer! It's a bit big for my 2.5 gal tank, but that's alright. It reads temperature well and accurately and I prefer this kind over the digital. It stays on really well with the magnet. Sometimes it tilts sidewise if you bump it while doing maintenance, but it's easily fixed and stays straight as long as you leave it alone. Maybe if you had some aggressive fish they would mess with it more.

I got this when it was super cheap but it's a very effective and nice looking thermometer. I find trouble sometimes quickly reading the temp, but that just might be a me problem. The magnet is usually good to grip it from the other side and I like being able to easily move it to clean around it without sticking my hand in. It can fall off pretty easy if you bump it though. I'd say it's definitely worth what I paid for it but saw it up around 10 dollars, which is fairly overpriced.

Still the tried and true mercury thermometer. I like how easily you can clean it, and it does seem to collect algae inside the plastic holder, and I do wish this,came in a larger font. The "green" zone is easily read.

I previously ordered one of these thermometers. I was thrilled with the first one and really like the quality. This manufacturer has a great reputation. I ordered a 2nd thermometer & read about many people receiving broken thermometers. I decided to take a chance & ordered again. It arrived broken! Thankfully Amazon refunded my money. Amazon packaged this item VERY WELL! The fact I received a broken thermometer is 100% on the seller. They must be providing broken ones to Amazon to ship. Beware!!

I bought one, loved it so much, and bought a second one. It is protected with plastic so I am not concerned about it breaking inside the fish tank. It is accurate and super easy to read. I like the green coded safe zone. The red temp line is also easy to read from a wide angle.Just make sure to check the product when it arrives for damage. Amazon seems to do a horrible job packaging these (zero padding). One of mine was destroyed in shipment. That is a negative reflection on Amazon, but not on the product!

Previous aquarium thermometers of mine used suction cups or adhered to the side of the tank. None of them lasted long. The LCD color change ones would become useless after a year or so, and the suction-cup ones keep falling off as the UV lamps weakened the rubber/plastic. The electronic one was good until I dropped the receiver unit in the water.This item is set & forget. The magnet works consistently to fix the thermometer to the tank wall, even when my turtle blunders into it (as he does often), and the scale is easy to read even for my old eyes & has the comfort zone clearly marked. Peace at last!

Ci voleva proprio un termometro così! È di grandi dimensioni, di facile lettura e pulizia e, soprattutto, si regge grazie ad una calamita. Cercavo da molto un articolo così che restasse finalmente fermo nell'acquario con un semplice attacco magnetico al posto delle classiche ventose che dopo un po' non hanno più presa. I tempi di consegna sono un po' lunghi, ma aspettare ne è valsa la pena.
