I have horrible red rocky clay soil in my yard which is so difficult to dig in that I need a heavy digging pole to dig holes more than a couple inches deep or wide. It is hard work and very frustrating to plant anything. I ordered a couple of shepherds' hooks recently for my garden, and I decided to try to make my life easier by ordering these augurs and drilling holes into my awful soil rather than trying to dig holes for the shepherds' hook prongs. I don't know why I didn't order these sooner because they have made a huge difference in my ability to quickly and easily dig holes for the shepherds' hooks as well as bulbs and plants. After I got the shepherds' hooks installed, I quickly and easily planted 50 narcissus bulbs in under an hour, a chore that would easily have taken me half a day of slow and difficult digging the old way. I like that there are different sizes and lengths of these augurs which will accommodate different planting hole sizes. The augurs are very easy to insert into the drill, are very sturdy, and made quick work drilling holes into my awful soil. I am sure I will be using them for a wide variety of chores such as aerating my compost piles, planting/transplanting. I only wish I had bought these years ago - they would have saved me many hours of drudgery and frustration!

Very well made, heavy duty augers. Fit my drill fine and works as described, I have only used the small bit to plant my bulbs so far. Excellent choice.

I was worried about figuring out how to use this, but it couldn't be simpler. I attached the auger drill bit to my regular household drill, and it fit perfectly. Within minutes, I was digging neat, uniform holes with minimal effort.Digging holes by hand can be exhausting, especially for someone new to gardening like me. This tool made the process so much easier and faster. I was able to plant all my bulbs and seedlings in a fraction of the time it usually takes, without getting tired.The auger feels very sturdy and well-made. I’ve used it several times already, and it shows no signs of wear. This was absolutely a 10/10. I love all things gardening/flower beds but I HATE having to drag out the shovel and dig holes when I buy new plants or trees. My husband found this online and admittedly we were very skeptical but we ordered it and put it straight to work. We planted 27 trees in about 30 minutes! It was so easy and well worth the money. Only con is that it makes the planting process too easy making me spend more money on plants.

Purchased this to drive holes into my hard clay based property to get my outdoor solar light ground spikes into the ground and it made my project needs so much easier.

The concept is awesome and would work well in other locations then mine. I have very rocky very hard ground and these do not do well with that. If your ground is JUST dirt...I'm sure the results would be great. Also provided you have a real good durable drill to use them with. For my needs this was a fail. The pricing is good on a competitive scale but just not as accommodating to my needs due to my ground as was hoped for.

I can't compare this to other products as I've never used anything like this before. It was great to receive 2 different sizes. I needed to dig a hole for an in ground gate latch. I was really trying to keep my expectations in check, my drill is cheap, I have all sorts of hand and back problems, I've never done anything like this before, I didn't know if there was cement or giant rocks down there... this tool made it so easy! I poured water over the area to soften the soil then used the small one first and then the big one and I was able to make a decent size 22cm-ish deep hole in less than 20 minutes with minimal struggles, fill it with cement and a pole, and emasculate every man I've ever met. All in a days work. 10/10.

I used this to drill holes in the ground so I can apply fertilizer sticks. Worked very well.

J’ai reçu deux tarières mais je n’ai utilisé que la plus petite pour le moment. L’ensemble est très solide, les soudures sont nombreuses et épaisses, ce qui devrait donner des années d’utilisation sans problème. À l’usage c’est une vraie petite merveille. Les trous pour la plantation de bulbes ne prennent qu’une fraction de seconde à faire et on peut en créer énormément dans un court laps de temps. J’ai percé mes trous dans un sol glaiseux et contenant beaucoup de racines avec simplement une perceuse de 4 ampères. Je n’ai pas essayé ces forêts avec une perceuse à batterie mais j’imagine que ça devrait bien fonctionné. En tout cas, à acheter sans hésitation si vous avez beaucoup de trou à faire.
