Worked like I expected, except one of the holes I had to drill through garage interior to exterior was more like 28" or so and I didn't realize this so made the job harder and had to drill from both sides then "find the hole" on the opposite side to fish wire thru. That is not the fault of the drill bit though, yet I couldn't find many longer options than 24" (maybe needed to look into a drill bit extension).

This bit drills nice and clean holes. The one thing that surprised me, and that I must've missed in the listing is that it doesn't have a screw-tip, which just means that you have to put more force into making the bit go through the wood.

The title and all descriptions state this drill bit was 1/4" what was received was 6mm which is .236" this is not close enough for my needs.

The biggest thing with auger bits is it's very tempting to drive them too quickly - gotta remember to slow down with these.

Sharp enough to drill even fresh wood. It hasnt corrode so far.
