Lock works great, it has a nano head so it really saves space and is less intrusive then the other ones. one odd thing is both heads are not the same one is a claw design and the main one is a slot and turn design. why not just have both the same? maybe for different devices. i used mine for two HP 22" computer monitors at work. I highly recommend t for anyone looking to lock up more that once device, this is the smallest one ive seen and used. the key is very small and easy to keep anywhere or on a key ring. Below are pics of the heads do you can see for yourself. It also has a black rubber dust boot so it keeps dust off your lock and device.

Expensive but does the job intended, it just depends on how much you value your laptop. I personally prefer combination locks to keys as you might lose the key or forget it.

This is a quality product and its price, indeed even I was surprised but I still think it's worth the money. The question I faced when I first ordered this product was whether any of my Laptops had the Kensington hook up and what does this look like? I simply looked in my Laptop owners manual checked the various diagrams and found a reference to this Kensington lock feature. I also measured the keyhole slot on my Laptop (just to be sure) which matched the required fitting dimensions. I was surprised that even my very old ACER Laptop from 2009 had the Kensington lock feature. So how well would this product protect a Laptop containing irreplaceable data or personal information? Well once tethered to a suitably large heavy object you would need nothing less than a bolt cutter as wire cutters or a hacksaw just isn't up to the job for a fast and silent getaway. The multi-core makeup of this flexible steel cable makes this quite resistant against a saw or wire cutters. The locking mechanism is really secure and the Laptop would be badly damaged if someone tried to forcibly remove the lock without the uniquely coded key. The suggested tethering to a heavy desk would be best through a desk cable management hole or less securely around a leg of the desk. There is a way to secure a non-Kensington compatible item under certain circumstances. Example: after tethering to a desk I threaded the cable through the sturdy handle of one of my Oscilloscopes which is sometimes used connected to my Laptop via the USB interface. I then inserted the Kensington locking mechanism into my Laptop. Since the Laptop can't pass through the handle of the Oscilloscope and the Laptop is securely tethered to the desk both items or multiple items daisy chained can be protected in a similar manner. The Laptop lock comes with a simple to understand instruction leaflet that has an important note detailing how to register your Keycode with Kensington. You really need to keep your keys safe (you get two Keys) because if you lose them and haven't registered your key codes well your Laptop isn't going anywhere soon. Overall this product would be a significant deterrent against theft but nothing is ever totally secure. However, If someone did manage to cut the tether they would still have the remnants of the locking mechanism fixed to the Laptop which would identify this as a stolen item if the thief was unable to remove it. I hope this brief review helps you to make an informative decision should you decide to purchase...

This has the ultra small stub to connect to ultra-thin laptops. It also has the standard stub used for most laptops from most of the main manufacturers and other peripheral devices. In theory you could secure 2 devices at once but basically this is a future proof security cable system. The cable itself is extremely robust. You would need a huge set of bolt cutters to get past this or an angle grinder. My only reservation is the price of this cable. That's why it lost a star. Otherwise this is a terrific bit of kit.

Easy to use, sturdy and up to the usual Kensington standard of quality. The company have been producing products like this for years and know what they are doing.Comes with two keys and instructions. Very flexible, but does not compromise on the required strength to achieve this

I guess my review on this product has to be about the product In it's entirety. I'll talk about the quality first. Right away upon opening you can see that this is a well made piece of equipment. All the materials and pieces are well fabricated and they don't show any flaws. Important when it comes to things such as locks etc. The security cable is long and very strong. The keys are solid. Everything about this lock shows genuine quality. I fitted it to my laptop. It tightens superbly to the allocated security slot on my laptop. The long cable ensures I can secure my device to pretty much any table or surface I need to secure it to. I feel confident nobody is getting away with this laptop without some heavy duty tools. Overall this lock comes highly recommended. But at this price. I'd look to see if I could get it cheaper. Its a little on the steep side.
