I needed a tiny window unit to supplement my central a/c in an upstairs bedroom. The windows were so small. I've had it about 2 years and it still works great. I haven't noticed much change in my electric bill and last summer it was on constantly upstairs. It cools great and is no louder than most window units. It doesn't weigh much so it's not stressing my window frame. My daughter slept great snuggled in a thick comforter while it was cold at nights. I was concerned because it wasn't a name brand I was familiar with,but it's been through 2 hot summers and still works great! I couldn't ask for a better price or product. It's not easy finding one so small. I would recommend this and buy it again.

Its a good little AC unit. But a couple of issues.I have small horizontal slider windows in the basement part of my house. It was really hard to find an AC unit that would fit a 15†wide window opening (with the frame still on). We were trying to keep the frame on so we wouldn’t have to worry about filling in so much gap space.It is important to note that the width in the image is wrong. It is NOT 15†wide. It is 16†just like the depth. We ended up just having to remove the entire window frame to make it fit. But in removing the entire window frame it left a big a gap on the sides that we had to cover with wood.The packaging is not the greatest. There was a big dent on the side and the grill in the back of the unit was somewhat smashed. The little lines on the grill were all crooked where they had been smashed. When I bought this item it was non-returnable from the seller.It is loud but it does cool. I have to turn it off at night because it is so loud.On the plus side I like that it has a timer feature. It has many modes such as cool and eco. I usually use cool mode. The eco mode was really annoying because it would constantly come on and off and the noise was loud.It gets the job done but if I had known we were just going to have to remove the window frame anyways I would have bought another brand.

A little more expensive than similar models, but this was the smallest one I could find, and was necessary for the opening it had to fit. It's listed dimensions were correct for the unit, but didn't take into account mount accessories. I still got it to fit with some effort. Like all new units, this took about 15 minutes to really get cold. It has since stayed very cold, and runs pretty quiet. It actually puts out a lot of cold air and should chill an area much larger than it's intended for.

So far so good. Gave into this NY heatwave and purchased this air conditioner. Size was perfect for my small window. Love the digital screen and convenience of a remote control. Noise level isn’t too bad; some may think it’s too noisy but I live on a high traffic street so the air conditioner hum doesn't bother me. Cools the room quickly. Can’t speak on the energy efficiency. I was skeptical at first but it’s a great unit for the price.

The bedroom windows are quite small (narrow). By leaving one of the side expander/fillers off I was able to just get it to fit in the window. It ran all of last night just fine.Fingers crossed. I've had some problems with refrigerant devices in the near past.

This is my second Keystone. I use it for my travel trailer on the Rio Grande Valley. Temperature is ridiculously hot. At 16cents per kw, it’s costing me 96cents per day.

I bought 2 units, this one and another one from a local store. I received the local store unit first, went in really easy and is working great. This unit recieved a few days later and on installing parts, the bracket pushes on the main control cabinet. The side brackets are just loose fit and hard to go into the slides of the window. Because the bracket is over side panel the bottom of the side panels won't secure to the bottom of the window. Had to put extra seals and roll a towel to cover all the gaps. I still have opening along the side curtains and brackets.On start up the unit has a A5 error. I will up date once it starts working.

This AC unit is indeed less noisy than my old one, but only when low power button is pressed. It cools the room much faster.
