Seems pretty solid, well designed. I would prefer if instructions were more step based rather than one picture. For the most part straight forward but the wheels that have cam, it wasn’t clear from instructions how bolts fit, I had to look back on Amazon for pictures to zoom in on finished product

This tool/cabinet rolling base is worth every penny of the purchase price! It's made of heavy metal, and the assembly instructions are very easy to follow. I have a very small woodshop in one bay of my garage, so putting tools and cabinets on casters is a HUGE space saver, since I can tuck them close together and roll the one(s) I need to use out in the middle of the shop. From now on, every new tool will be on a rolling base like this.

I bought this for an old 1980's 6" Buffalo jointer with steel frame. My guess is it weighs around 200+ pounds. It was easy to assemble and rolls easy on my concrete basement floor. The foot levers easily lock and unlock. I plan on bolting a piece of hardwood scrap (or piece of old bedframe) across the 2 foot levers so I can lock or unlock them both at the same time.Very high quality at a good price. I highly recommend it.

Not suitable for anything in a shop, definitely not 450 pounds. The casters might support an office chair on a wooden floor, but not a heavy machine on a concrete floor. I may find some use for it in the office.

I have my 80s era Unisaw on this mobile base. I do have the base propped up on wooden blocks to keep the saw level and stable, but the base held up fine even though I know the saw is over the 450lb capacity. It was easy to assemble, and it rolls fine with the heavy load. Good mobile base, recommended.

I got this for a large portable air conditioner I use my basement. The air-conditioner actually has a couple of tiny wheels of its own, but the exhaust hose on the AC was a few inches too short to reach my high basement windows, aso I bought a strong equipment-pad base to boost the entire AC up off the ground a few inches, but that still wasn't quite as high as I needed -- and it made moving the AC around more of a pain, since now I have to move the heavy equipment pad base and AC separately....But this mobile-base helped solve both of those problems: By installing this under the hard-plastic equipment-pad base (which is also rated to hold equipment of up to a few hundred pounds), it got the base a couple of additional inches off the ground, like I needed -- plus I can now roll everything together (this mobile base allows the equipment pad to roll and the AC stays on top of it all, which the AC wheels locked). Works like a charm, so now it's easier to move the AC to another area of the basement if needed, or roll it off to the storage closet during the winter months when it's not needed, etc.It seems like a pretty strong mobile base, especially considering how, when disassembled, it fits into a relatively small box -- relative to something so compact, it seems quite good. It's not too difficult to put together or resize, either. That said, I own some other mobile bases that are a bit more robust (larger, stronger) and/or are easier to adjust. I don't know if I'd use this one as a permanent base for heavier items (the 450 pounds its advertised as being able to hold might be accurate for a short-term dolly situation if you were doing a one-off move of some equipment, but if I was planning on keeping some max-weight equipment on wheels I'd probably opt for something more substantial. But this seems perfect for something of moderate weight like an AC, maybe a portable fridge, etc.)

I got these wheels to make a filing cabinet in my workshop moveable. It is doing a great job and is clearly built for more heavy applications than just a filing cabinet. That being said, it does what I need and it does it well, so I'm quite happy.
