I am always forgetting to check the weather and to bring an umbrella, so I got this one to keep near my laptop bag. I love the one I got--when you look up at the inside--you see blue skies and white clouds. A little touch of whimsy.Very sturdy, works well, compact to store, good value. Recommend!

Excellent quallity !! Heavy duty & has a feel like it won't fall apart. Nice and solid in your hand and doesn't seem to twist with a gust of wind. LOVE the "Clouds" up inside of it. So pretty. The open/close mechanism work VERY SMOOTH !! I think I'm going to put my first name and number on it maybe hanging a tag somehow on the handle so if I happen to leave it somewhere maybe I'll get lucky and get a phone call from someone so I can pick it up from them, I sure don't want to loose it because I reall like it !!

***2019 Update***Last year was a record year in my state for rainfall. More rain was seen last year than has been seen for over a century. So you can imagine that I used this umbrella a LOT, and it’s still going strong. This umbrella has traveled across the country on an airplane, been tossed into bags and suitcases, and more than a few times been dropped on the ground. This umbrella lives up to the claims of a sturdy construction.I have never had an umbrella last this long. The only minor thing “wrong†with it is that there are some rust stains on the fabric, which admittedly is probably my fault for folding it up wet a few times.All the open and closing mechanisms work, the color is still vibrant, and it still doesn’t flip in the winds. Still keeps me dry. Best umbrella I’ve ever owned. Best investment I ever made on an umbrella.***2017***I've struggled for so long to find a decent umbrella. Didn't seem to matter if I spent a lot or a little they always broke on me, because where I live rain tends to be accompanied with strong wind. My umbrellas were forever breaking and being flipped inside out. Generally within only a few uses. I took this one out for the first time yesterday, and I stood outside for 45 minutes in some pretty strong wind and light rain and stayed as dry as possible under those circumstances. The design is suited to not being flipped, like other umbrellas that I have had. It has a very sturdy construction and the material repels water very well. It was wider than I expected for the relatively small size. It fits well in the side pocket of my backpack. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but still is not that much of an issue. Opening it is a snap, though closing it can be a bit fiddly, because you have to push down until it clicks in place and once or twice it seemed to have clicked but then sprang open again.I have high hopes though, especially since it comes with a lifetime guarantee. Will update in the future.

This is a well built, sturdy and strong umbrella. The colors are true to the picture online, but the metal spines and handle are fairly thick which makes it very sturdy and there's no way it would turn inside out in windy weather. For me, though, this makes it heavy and when you close it down to fit in closed position with the prongs inside the handle it was impossible for me to do so. I am 5'2" but I do lift weights 5 times a week so am not a weakling. Maybe it's just because I am short. My adult son had to close it for me completely; I couldn't do it. Otherwise, it works very well. The auto open and close is fast and easy to do by the push of a button on the handle. It's just getting it completely closed is a struggle for me. Love the colors. I reiterate, the heavy spine and handle make it a heavier-than-normal umbrella to carry closed or open. So because of these cons for me, I returned it. That was why I only gave it 4 stars.

This is a great umbrella. I bought the first one for travel after having to discard one of those cheap, low-quality ones you buy in souvenir stores in Europe that cost almost the same but did not last long. This one proved to be a smart purchase. It is sturdy. We encountered some windy situations where other low-quality umbrellas would have folded backward. This one was able to maintain its shape and covered us as expected. It is easy to carry, easy to open, and easy to close. I decided to give that one to my daughter and bought two new ones for my wife and me. We have one in blue, one in red, and one in pink. All have vibrant colors. Yes, I recommend buying it.

I bought 2 of these umbrellas last Aug 2022. Yellow for me, and black for my son. I convinced him he's not too cool for an umbrella... plus he needs to preserve his hair-do, right?! As a college student, he drives to school and walks to class, and it's pretty rainy and blustery around here a lot of the time (Cleveland). So the black umbrella was used often; the canopy/ribs all held up great, but at some point it would not stay down or close. Then the handle got loose and wobbly, so I reached out to the company, and they were eager to help. They kindly sent a replacement umbrella, after I described the problems. We got it a couple days ago, and now we're back in business! The umbrella itself is sturdy (not cheapy), the color was true to the picture, and I like the handle as it's easy to hold onto, slightly grippy and kinda soft texture. Hard to explain, but it's very comfortable in my hand. Not slippery, if that helps. I love that it's not frustrating to get back into the cover, it goes in pretty easily. Very happy with our umbrellas and the customer service was fantastic. They kept in touch with us to follow up and make sure we didn't forget to send details of the problems, and to be sure we were satisfied. Yea! Thanks to all who helped us at Upper Echelon Products - Jessa Mae, Queene and Krisha. Hope I didn't forget anyone! Thanks!
