These do not keep your parrot from turning the cup to dump the food or water. I sure miss the plastic door cups for aluminum cages I bought others directly from kings cages and most were too snug for the ring ..

Cup does not lock. After supposedly locking the cup in, my Goffen’s cockatoo had the cup out within 5 minutes the first time and within 30 seconds the next after figuring out that he could grab the lip and pull up. I found I could push the cup out if the ring with minimal pressure after locking it in myself. King’s Cages told me that these cups only work if you are using their cages because there’s some sort of a bar that goes across the cup stopping it from popping out. This doesn’t makes it a locking cup, for those of us who don’t have a King’s Cages cage. (And btw: the box makes no such notice or disclaimer )
