This bottle will last a long time if the parrot does not knock it off to the floor. I have used this bottle for years. The double steel ball feature does prevent leakage compared to other bottles I have purchased before. I do take the white plastic ball on the inside out because these things tend to get moldy after a period of time. The green coloring is supposed to prevent bacteria build-up, so a person should not have to wash the bottles that often.

Oasis water bottles are have been the standard for several decades. They are the best I have ever used for my hamsters in the past 33 years and also for my rabbits. So I bought this bottle for my canary. He uses it. The green color helps prevent algae growth. However he seems to prefer the small European double-ball bottle I purchased from thefinchconnections.com which are smaller and easier to clean.I will keep the Oasis bottle for back-up or other birds but order a couple extra of the small ones.

I have used many of these bottles in the past but they leak and if you drop them they shatter. I prefer to use a glass bottle. I would not purchase this bottle again.

I've purchased this product before and was happy with it then, and happy with the new one. My birds prefer this bottle to others I have tried, and it holds up well to regular use.

Love these bottles! They do tend to crack if bumped, dropped, or with age. I always have a few in reserve.
