Had to get this, because my cats...they act so lovey dovey and then they get up and fight and this way they won't hit the glass that covers the fireplace and they will not get burned.

If you’re getting this to protect your children and pets, I’d look for something a little sturdier. Looks nice but falls easily.

I bought this last Fall for our fireplace in our “new to us homeâ€. It light weight but very stable. It fits our fireplace & due to the angle of the side panels, adjust perfectly into the fireplace. It’s attractive & seems to be well made.
