I got it for my jiujitsu 11 year old who asked for a pull up bar for her birthday.We got this and some days I walk in and find 3 kids hanging on it or sitting on top, it’s fantastic!

Installation wasn't too difficult. Used daily by 180lb teen, tested by a 250lb male and it held strong.

This is a great pull up system for a very tall ceilings (13 FT). We would rather by more complex pull up bar with different grips, but they do not sell them because of the tall length. Installation was pretty straightforward, but we had to go to the hardware store to buy additional board to distribute the weight drill and screws. It took us about 4 to 5 hours to install between driving and assembling, absolutely worth the money. Will buy it again if needed! Kids are happy ðŸ˜

Works great. Only concern is do not tighten the sides onto the pull bar before mounting on ceiling. When tight it was 49 inches and there was no rafter to attach to. A few loosened bolts and all is well

High quality, sturdy. I ended up mounting it on to doulbed up 2x6s because my rafters run 2 different directions where I wanted to mount it. However, I would recommend going this route anyway, especially if your house uses engineered wood I-beams for rafters. Be sure to pre-drill your mounting holes with appropriate size drill bit. My son and I have been using it for a while now and very happy with it.

This is a very solidly built piece of equipment and I'm very satisfied with it. The carton got beat-up a bit in transit but everything was fine upon close inspection. No scratches, nothing missing.I've deducted a star though for reasons that I'm not even sure can be corrected through design. One is that it's not easy to install from your garage ceiling, especially when your rafters are not exposed. I had ceiling sheetrock and plywood flooring in the attic to contend with, and of course the rafters and a header weren't perfectly spaced so simply mounting the brackets directly to them was impossible. The spacing of the pre-drilled holes on the brackets also don't help. In this case I decided to mount the brackets to a 2x12 with counter-sunk carriage bolts and then attached that (with lag screws) to the 4 rafters I had exposed from sheetrock removal. I also had to add a spacer to one end to get the unit perfectly level. And of course I ended-up with a gap between the sheetrock and 2x12 that I had to cover with trim. The rest of the installation was easy.But as some others have complained, the bar at its highest setting sits at 86" with a 111" ceiling. That's great for me with just a short jump to grasp the bar, but I'm 5'-7" tall. You taller guys may want to get more creative with mounting, but you do need to leave yourself some headroom when in the "up-position" of course 🤔Like I said though, I'm very happy with it, and it made for a great 8-10 hour project for a retired guy.

Fantastic addition to my calisthenics home gym, I can do pull-ups with 140lbs strapped to me. The only things about it is that is very squeaky on the joint between the two parts/bolt, but it doesn’t move and I don’t think that is ever going to break. Please ensure you’re screwing into a stud

All pieces and hardware present and the manufacturer didn’t “cheap out†on materials. Easy assembly, holes all line up, and paint is very well done. I’m 190lbs. This product is sturdy & confidence inspiring. Fully recommend.
