Optimal Conditions for Accurate Measurement
- Material Thickness: Measure materials between 20 mm (0.78 inches) and 40 mm (1.57 inches).
- Avoid Metal: Keep metallic objects away from the measurement area.
- 20 mm Depth Reading: For materials thicker than 20 mm (0.78 inches), readings reflect moisture at the 20 mm depth.

I got this moisture meter when my hot water heater leaked a little and I wanted to make sure the floors were not wet underneath the tiles. It is compact at about the size of a hair trimmer and it comes with a pouch for storage. Operation is simple-you press the M to set it for hardwood, softwood, wall or masonry then just move it about the area you are testing and it does the rest. The LED display will show you the percentage of moisture. I moved it along and nothing registered so I pointed it near my dog's water bowl and the numbers changed rapidly so I knew it was working. This is a useful tool, I'm glad I got it.

È pronto all'uso una volta inserita la batteria stessa.Misura vari materiali fino ai 4cm di profondità . L'ho usato per legna rimasta ferma per diversi anni ed è stato molto intuitivo usare il misuratore. Mi trovo molto bene.

Although I wasn't that cheerful when I had damp confirmed in the living room which is adding to the ever growing list of jobs.Can also confirm my cat Chedz reads between 6-8% moisture at the fur level.Build quality is good, size handy and very functional. Great value for money and so easy to use.
