I used these to secure the slightly-warped wooden doors on my 1890 farmhouse pantry. The magnetic adhesion on these is exactly as advertised, and they do a great job of keeping the doors latched, even when the pantry frame flexes a bit or is bumped.I would rate these as being very close to 5 stars. The only slight difficulty I had in mounting the latches is because the magnet is firmly fixed in its holder, and doesn't "float" as some lesser-quality latches allow. Since the doors were warped and the metal plate would not sit flat on the magnet plate, I had problems at first in getting the doors to latch reliably.But I found a great solution - I just backed out each of the two screws holding the latch plate ¼ turn! This allowed the latch plate to self-adjust and *firmly* seat itself on the face of the magnets, and now those beautiful glass-and-wood antique doors are securely being held in place! And I have to admit, the dark golden finish on the metal really enhances the appearance of the pantry! ðŸ˜

Sticky tape guarantees perfect alignment of door plate and magnet, no guessing! Bronze color coordinates nicely with oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware. Strong magnet.

Bought and installed these cabinet magnetic closure devices for an old cabinet that the key for locking same is missing. Installation 3-inches from the top and 3-inches from the bottom of the door was a breeze and the strong magnets hold the cabonet door closed very well. I highly recommend these for anyone who has issues with cabinet doors that just don't stay shut.
