Looks great and the size is perfect for our kitchen; we’re just two adults, so might need a larger one if you have a family. It doesn’t totally cover the smell once it starts getting full, but does a decent job. Very happy with it!

Unfortunately it arrived with a very noticeable dent in the front of the container. We'll see what condition the exchanged item comes in; will update rating afterwards.***UPDATE: Received a new undamaged item the next day after receiving the first. This one was thankfully in good condition. No smell thanks to the filter fitted into the lid.

The bin is nice looking, but the handle is not attached & falls out constantly. I found it extremely annoying and will be returning this item. Also, even with the filter, my scraps still attracted fruit flies.

We liked the idea of the filter! However we find several fruit flies coming out the vents in the cover
