I'm a kitchen gadget fiend and freely admit it. There are some items that I buy and then realize they aren't as useful as I thought they would be. Others becomes indispensable. This blender definitely falls in that category! I've had it for 8 years and it's still working as beautifully as it did on day one.This little guy is a great deal - great brand which has well made products and easy to use customer service if you ever need it. This is a good price on a stick/immersion blender, and it comes with a very handy container with lid to blend/store in. Although you can blend in any container it can be hard to find ones with nice tall sides to help prevent splatter. Mostly important if you're working with something hot or something that might stain!I use this most often to correct lumps in my frosting or white sauces. I also use it to quickly thicken up soups by partially blending them. It may not have the power of my Vitamix but it does an amazing job and it very quick/easy to pull out AND clean up. Nice long cord to reach all the way into the pot on the stove from wherever your outlet may be. My only complaint is that food can build up along the edge of the rubber seal on the inside of the metal area covering the base of the blades. I normally use a toothpick to clean along this edge and once in a while run a knife under the lip to make sure all the gunk gets cleaned out.Other than that I love everything about the design of this blender and wholeheartedly recommend it!

This is awesome, if it is only you at home, or an small family this is perfect and replaces a blender/chopper/food processor. comes with a plastic glass(not so great). the blades are detachable so you can wahs/dishwasher safe! has 2 speeds only(could be better to have more)Recommendation: buy stainless steel cups so you can do multiple shakes with long lasting and easy to wash glasses. you can use it to do shakes, to do smoothies, process food, guacamole, fried beans, any kind of mixed/blended dipPros: has power, is small easy to use, handle and wash. you can use it directly to bowls, pots, glasses for multi purposes.Cons: the extra parts, is not clear if the food processor and whisk work with this one, plus buying them separately will cost more than the hand blender itselfGreat product!

From the wife:I bought this blender back in July to replace one that broke quite a while ago. I received the product in a timely manner.What I like about it:1. It's a pretty strong little immersion blender. I've used it many times and am pleased with how it works. I've not tried it with ice but I have blended frozen fruit for a smoothie and it worked really well. Last night I used it to mix organic peanut butter with the oil on top and I almost thought I broke it as it stopped working lol. But I just had to clean out the blade area and it worked fine after that. It can be tough mixing that type of peanut butter so it gave me a chance to check out how it would do.2. I like that I can take this hand blender apart to store it and that the bottom half is made of metal.3. I like that it came with a container with a to lid make my smoothie in. It's not a strong plastic container so I'm not sure how long it will last.What I'm not so keen on:1. I don't care for the fact that you have to hold the button in to keep the blender on as you blend with it. It's a bit uncomfortable and tiring. Someone with arthritis might find it difficult. it would be nice to just press the button to turn it on and then one to turn it off, something I failed to check for.2. As others noted, you have to line up the two halves of the blender just right and then turn to lock it. I like the fact that it is strong and stays put, but it can be a little hard to turn and take a part if your hands are even slightly wet or greasy. Make sure your hands are completely dry.All in all I am very happy with this blender.

Top of the line product. I had a Cuisinart which I loved, but I accidentally melted it a little bit. I went a few months without an immersion blender, but they’re handy to have around, take up very little space, and are easy to clean.I replaced the Cuisinart with a cheap off-brand immersion blender, which sent iced coffee flying all over my kitchen (glad it wasn’t hot soup!!!) I returned it and got this KitchenAid, and I’m so glad I did! We’ve used it every day since it arrived. It has 2 power settings, the low is low, which is absolutely necessary. There’s nothing worse than needing to slightly blend something and ending up with a purée. The high setting is high enough to crush ice, but not so high that it sends your food flying all over the walls.While I try to buy kitchen appliances that match my decor, I wouldn’t get a subpar product on color alone. I got lucky with this one because it’s a great product, and matches my walls perfectly. I was thrilled there were so many options.This product is well worth the price. It was only $15 more than the off brand immersion blender, but that difference is nothing in consideration of performance. I’m certain it will last for years to come, assuming I don’t leave it on the stove and turn on the wrong burner.

Was skeptical about how this product would work for us, but all doing were laid to rest soon enough. It has two speeds, and really makes good purees fast and efficient. It can puree little items as well which might not be possible in Mixies.Only this is, it comes with 110V input, so make sure you have a voltage converter to use it, otherwise you might burn it.

Love this blender, such a great purchase. Love that I can mix up my butternut squash soup right in the pan, make my own mayo, mash potatoes all with just one appliance. Really like the colour too and it was better priced than purchasing from a store.

This hand held blender is a bit heavier than most, but I love the power and easy grip handle. The bottom comes off for easy cleaning. I Preferred the shape of the blender (bell) bottom better on this particular one than the new ones with the strange shaped bottom (looks harder to clean in all the bends). A plus is that it matches my kitchen aid mixer, but the color wasn't really important to me as much as the performance, and so far its Great!! My last blender (heritage), the seal wasnt tight and the food would go up the rod and sit in the top. It was kinda gross as the bacteria build up would be really bad. The seal on the kitchen aid is really tight and so far no back up when blending. I would definitely recommend this product.

Hasta el momento todo bien, funciona como yo esperaba, es potente para su precio y es fácil de limpiar. En mi opinión lo único que le cambiarÃa a este aparato serÃa que el botón de encendido y apagado estuviera en el extremo superior y no en el área dónde se sujeta con la mano ya que es fácil apagarlo o encenderlo accidentalmente.
