I purchased this for practicality & function, nothing more. I’m an avid crafter & I wanted a seat for my workbench. I needed something that fit nicely in a small space but also would sit a bit higher than a traditional chair. This fit the bill. The seat is not soft but it’s not uncomfortable either. It was easy to assemble, took maybe 15-20 minutes. Overall, I’m happy w my purchase & feel it was a good value for the price.

This product is very well-made and went together very easily, but it is not intended for adults. It would work perfectly for a child because the seat is way too small for an adult bottom.

The only issue I have with this stool is that the backrest supports can bend back easily. It's a simple and easy process to bend it back into a comfortable, upright position, but time will tell if bending it back will weaken the integrity of the supports.
