The price is excellent, and it works well with a mobile phone camera. The 'pain' is having to handle each slide and go through the steps. Once the slide is photographed the image editor on the iPhone allowed me to almost restore it.

I have no qualms with the product, it does what it claims to, is well built and works. However, if you are going through a large number of film strips it would be worth buying something with more features. This is basically a stand with a light that illuminates the slide, you rest your phone on the top piece and take a picture with your phone camera and then edit the photo in the App. Like I said, it works, but its tedious for each picture and relies on the quality of your phone's camera/zoom.

This thing sucks big time. The marketing and packaging was great, and I'm sure the people who make and sell it are all very nice, but this slide scanner uses a poor-quality "white" LED(s) for the 35mm slide backlight, but the phosphor in the LED(s) they're using is much too blueish--it isn't broad spectrum enough to show much of the red, orange, and yellow colors in my slides. So the colors are largely washed out, even after setting my smartphone camera's white balance all the way up, which tells it that the lighting is blueish, so the camera sensor can hopefully compensate by increasing the red content.I read this in another comment, and it didn't really sink in at the time, but it sure does now. I don't know what I'm going to do now--I can't accept digitizing my slide collection like this.

I love this thing. I have thousands of negatives from the 80’s all the way back to the 60’s without photos. It’s so good to revisit the good times in my life.

This mobile film scanner works but picture quality is not that great. Some pictures have this bluish hue and some are out of focus. It’s nice to convert negatives to digital pictures with this if you have a lot of spare time. It can only covert one at a time. If you have a bulk, maybe going with a different option is better.

Received product really quickly, as advertised but was not what I expected. Much editing required for each frame of film when considering the number of negatives I am considering to save - have an alternate plan.

Hace un tiempo me encontré con un montón de negativos viejos en casa, de esos que guardas porque lógicamente no vas a tirarlos, pero tampoco sabes muy bien cómo pasarlos a un formato que garantice su durabilidad en el tiempo. Fue entonces cuando me topé con este escáner, y la verdad es que me pareció una solución genial para rescatar esos recuerdos que estaban a punto de perderse.Es súper fácil de usar. No tienes que ser un experto en tecnologÃa ni nada por el estilo. Básicamente, lo despliegas, enciendes la luz (viene con pilas, asà que no hay que preocuparse por eso), metes el negativo, pones el móvil encima y listo. La app que incluye es gratuita y bastante intuitiva, asà que en unos minutos ya estás escaneando.Eso sÃ, no esperes una calidad de imagen profesional. Los negativos que transformé tienen sus años, pero tampoco son tan antiguos como para que las fotografÃas no salgan lo nÃtidas que esperaba. Aun asÃ, prefiero tenerlas, aunque no sean perfectas, a que los negativos acaben estropeándose y ya no pueda recuperarlos nunca. De todos modos, se me ocurre que tal vez pasándolas por algún programa de edición bueno pueda mejorar el resultado.No es un producto perfecto, pero cumple su función y te ayuda a conservar esos recuerdos gráficos. ¡Lo recomiendo!

J'ai utilisé Klim pour scanner des diapositives et le résultat est bon. Je pense malgré tout qu'il faut l'utiliser avec un mobile ayant un bon objectif. J'ai en plus déclenché chaque prise de vue avec une télécommande afin d'éviter un quelconque tremblement en touchant mon mobile.
