I have used several brands of oil filters in my 2001 VW Jetta VR6, and the K&N has the best fit of any of them. It snaps into the filter housing perfectly every time. I change oil every 5000 to 6000 miles and the filter has no problem keeping up. I will continue using these as long as I have the car.

Bought this from amazon and used it on a 2000 VW GTI GLX VR6 for 6 months / 4000 miles. Drove in a sporty and safe manner.Quality wise, after taken off, not as great as VW authentic filter (retail package from dealer, so far the best) - not as rag with less creases. Performance wise there is not much different.It's better than other 'oem' brand such as Mann. I would shift back to vw genuine, cost 15-20% extra but last a lot longer.

Overall the K&N filter fits my Volkswagen 1998 Jetta GLX vr6 very well, the o-ring is much tougher then the Fram filters i used to use and I find that under harsher conditions my engine temp stays more stable, which can be attributed to better oil cooling and filtering.Would highly recommend this to any Volkswagen owners who currently run fram or oem filter.

Use K&N for all filters on my 2006 Porsche Cayenne and can tell the difference every time I change them out. These work great with easy install over OEM parts and better performance. Would recommend to anyone as benefits are noticeable and great price compared to what any dealership will charge you.

This filter was the wrong one for my Touareg. Unfortunately, I had placed the old filter in the box for this one before I realized that this filter was the wrong size for my 2007 4.2L V8. I'm sure it's a great filter but beware if you're a V8 driver!
