Best small tripod ball head I have ever seen. All metal, light, and strong. And half the size of most “micro†ball heads. Buy it!

I love the concept of this extremely small and light weight ball head (22g without the cold shoe adapter). It is as sturdy as I need for mounting small light panels or phones on stands or tiny tripods. It is almost as light or lighter than even most simple cold shoe bases or pivot bases, which do not provide the same functionality. But the base is too shallow, so any 1/4" threaded mounting screw goes in far enough to contact and seize the ball (the mounting hole goes all the way through). This also necessitates a short thread on the included cold shoe adapter so if it is actually used on a cold shoe only about a single thread remains to grip the base. Fortunately my application does not involve using the included cold shoe adapter, and I simply got some 1/4" nylon washers (you can't buy just one) and put one between my base and this ball head so now the post no longer binds the ball. Perfect!

This is by far the smallest ball head I have ever come across and that made it perfect for my custom built RIG, as no other head would work for my special design and purpose. I am glad that they made something like this for unique purposes such as mine. But do note: this is way smaller then other so called mini ball heads. (See Pic of me holding it attached to a 23mm 1/4 20 cube next to a penny for size ref)So as long as what you need is an ultra compact head then look no further. To give you an idea the base is only18mm across that's smaller then a penny if what you need is something really small then you should def give this one a try, it is well made with nice machining and build, they even choose to use a stainless steel button head Allen Screw for the clamping knob, for me this shows great attention to detail in both its design and build, something I love to see in products like this but do not see often.If you need something for lightweight use that's really tiny but well made I highly recommend this as an option to other heads that may be to large for a specific use.

Got this to hold my godox tl 60 tube lights and they work perfectly. They’re fully adjustable and stay in the position that you tighten it in.

Using this with an H Track lighting extender to hold my portable projector. Projector weighs about 2.4 lbs and it is tilted; hasn't moved a millimeter and maintaining it's position. For my set up, I did have to switch the plate with another one I have cause I needed more coverage to fit inside the extender.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It's very small and fits well on my telescoping selfie stick. Very sturdy as the entire mount is made from metal. It can easily hold up my micro four thirds camera. Considering how small it is, it's very sturdy. I wanted the ball joint so that I can take pictures in vertical mode. Good product.

This is a small ballhead that provides strong support for many applications. I like the many attachment variations it offers. I got a few of these and they stayed on my camera rigs for attaching accessories as well as support purposes.
