I bought this as a gift to go with a Seestar S50. It fits easily between the scope and the tripod and it very easy to use. It functions as a fine tuned leveler and replaces any awkward adjustments of tripod legs.

I use this on the base of an astrophotography telescope. it’s one of the best items I’ve ever purchased from Amazon. It’s easy to adjust and has a heavy, weighted feel to it, adding confidence to its stability. Comes in a zipper pouch case.

Love this! I got it to shoot the milky way photography with a star tracker, and it works well for that, but I found I leave it on most of the time as it is also great for panos or any time you need a level tripod.

Much easier to level my telescope than adjusting the tripod legs, but there is some movement in the upper plate due to the spring tensioning. My telescope plus equitorial tripod head and camera weighs 11 pounds and is OK, but heavier equiment or imbalanced equipment could cause movement in the springs. Good quality overall.

This has been the perfect addition to my Seestar, has saved me time, you simply unscrew the mount the S50 came with, screwed this leveler into the same spot the mount goes into and keep it screwed in all the time, then you can either screw the original mount into the leveler or like I do, I use a simple cheap 6' camera tripod I screw the S50 and leveler into and turn it on, when calibrating what used to take minutes now can be done in seconds to 0.0 error margin. You will never not want to use it.

I have a setup where I have my camera mounted to a tripod with a horizontal bar, pointed down (for macro photography of coins). Getting the camera level is a challenge with a ball head since there is some inevitable flex in the system with a big heavy lens. With this leveler in the system, I can just place a level on the camera and adjust the screws until the level indicates perfect leveling. It's very easy because the screws turn smoothly for fine adjustments.

The go-to accessory for the Seestar S50. It makes leveling a breeze.

I use this to level my SeeStar smart telescope.Overall, this can be accomplished with the telescope's idea of what level is - however, I prefer to get my tripod set up first, and then install the telescope on it when it gets dark.I recently discovered one of the side spirit levels was not installed level. Since the bubble does not touch the two lines at the center of the spirit tube, you have to estimate if it is level based on the space between the lines, and the bubble. However - one of them was off, and disagreed with the top bubble.By the time I noticed this, it was past the point of when I could return it.Anyhow - overall, well built if you don't need the levels to be level. If you do - check your unit when you get it.

De perfecte leveler voor mijn ZWO Seestar robotic telescoop. Geen gedoe met steeds de statiefpoten verstellen.

I used this for my Seestar S50 to level the telescope - much easier than trying to mess with adjusting the tripod legs. It still fits in the Seestar box so that is great! The knobs have a relatively limited range of motion, so best to try to put them in the centre at the start, and then adjusting each knob up or down as needed.

The CAVIX Camera Leveller Tripod Levelling Base Tri-Wheel Head for Macro Photography was useless. The product did not work to the description expectations. A waste of a product.
